Competitive Team
Purdue Trap and Skeet Club has hosted a competitive team since its inception in 1978. The team has a long and storied history with over 250 trophies, awards, and commendations to its name; including 142 national and world championships, 20 consecutive world championships, seven high overall team national championships, and 17 All-American shooters.
Recently, the team has won multiple local and regional competitions including 1st Place Collegiate Squad at the 2025 SCTP Mid-States and Runner-Up at the 2023 Eastern Conference Championships.

Tryouts are usually held at the beginning of each semester, shooting a program of one round of trap singles, one of skeet, and one of 5-Stand.

The team typically competes in regional and local competitions throughout the semester, but the schedule does vary every year.
