Go to the range house (grey building with white door)
Check in with the RSO, and if it is your first time, sign a CoRec waiver and watch a brief safety video
If bringing your own shotgun/ammo, let the RSO on duty verify that they meet our safety requirements

Apply to become a Range Safety Officer
RSO’s are responsible for opening and running the range, enforcing gun safety, and training/assisting new shooters. To become a RSO, you must have an active CPR/AED/First Aid Certification on file with the CoRec, and learn how to operate the range with the Head Safety Officer.
As an added bonus, you get two free rounds of targets and two free boxes of ammo every time you work a three hour shift.
Run for an Executive Board position
Each year, we rely on several students to fill a variety of important positions within the club. If you are interested in helping make leadership decisions, being a board member is the best way to do so. Any Purdue West Lafayette student member of the club who has good academic standing is eligible to run for any position other than President (who must serve one term on the board first).
If there is a position that interests you, don’t hesitate to reach out to the current officer to learn more!
